Microlens array

Wuxi OptonTech Ltd. offers microlens arrays made of full fused silica or plastics with fill factor up to 100%. The diameter or side length of each individual microlens can be as small as 1 micron and up to 1000 micron. The sag height ranges from 0.1 micron to 70 micron. Correspondingly the focal length of the microlens array can be from sub-micron to 20,000 micron at visible wavelengths. The microlenses can either be spherical or aspherical. Specifications outside the ranges stated here are also possible upon customers¡® request.

Surface profile of 250 micron microlens array. The scattered spots represent a perfect spherical profile. The non-symmetry is caused by the measurement error of the profilometer, which is ideal to measure the height differences but may have error during the measurement of continuous profiles. The radius of curvature at the vertex of the profile is 547 micron. The conic constant is approximate 0.5.
